Pastor Paul Fetter, saved at age 11, worked and retired from 21 years in the Norfolk Fire Department in 2000. He had also worked as a National Registry Paramedic and received the Outstanding Paramedic of the Year Award in 1997. Upon retiring, he moved his family to Shelby, North Carolina, where he again worked as Paramedic while attending Bible College. He graduated from Ambassador Baptist College in 2008, receiving the President's Award, and a Batchelor's Degree in Bible and Music. For 12 years, his service included teaching the Young Adult Sunday School class, directing the choir, and was the Missions Director of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Mooresboro, North Carolina. Those years of service and training were invaluable to him and his family! As God worked on his heart, Paul was led to Central Baptist Church to serve as Pastor in winter of 2011. He loves door-to-door soul-winning! He also is a member of the Volunteer Fire/EMS Department of Victoria!
Mrs. Peggie Fetter received the Lord as her Saviour in 1976 while attending Dublin Christian Academy. Since then, she studied Bible and music at Midwestern Baptist College for one year. It was there she met her late husband. Years later, after he passed away. She met Paul Fetter and they were married November 27, 1999. Together, they finished raising three children, Joshua (married to Vashtee) Rhoades on their way to the country of Guyana as missionaries...Daughter, Tessa (married to Jason) Hastings raising a family, and members of Bethel Baptist Church in Shelby, NC. Then, the youngest, Timothy (and his wife Dorothy) faithfully a part of Berean Baptist Church in Shelby, NC. Peggie, has 7 grandchildren (One in heaven), and has played the guitar for the Lord since 1974. She enjoys ministering to the ladies of Central, holding a ladies meeting usually on Saturdays. Mrs. Fetter has been invited to speak at various Ladies Meetings and enjoys sharing what the Lord has done in her life. She's a published author.
