"OTHERS" has been the un-named theme for our Ladies Meetings this year. We have ministered to our supporting Missionaries and what a blessing it has been! The Ladies at Central made a "Sun-Bonnet Sue" Quilt together, made cards, sent out Christmas potholders and other surprises, filled and re-filled the Missions Chest, given out several baskets to the sick, the discouraged in the community, to missionaries and evangelists traveling through, and others! ToGod Be the Glory! Only when we get to heaven, will we see the impact of reaching out has made...the difference in lives of others. The more I dig into God's Word, the more I realize my personal need for the Lord Jesus Christ is my every day life! Let e encourage you to set up a regular reading and prayer time, with HIM! Isn't it wonderful that our Precious Lord watches us, and cares so much about what is happening in our lives!
Saturday, NOVEMBER 14th, Our ladies have been invited to the first ladies meeting at Grace Baptist Church, Gaston, NC with Mrs. Sherry Agee, Pastor's wife. Mrs. Kimberly Harper will be speaking and Sherry's mother-in-law will be give her personal testimony of her battle with cancer. $15.00 a person.
What a blessing it has been to me personally to have had the opportunity to speak to ladies several times this year of 2014! Any time to 'brag' on the Lord or simply share what He has been teaching me, has been a privilege! ALSO, Currently,the Lord has laid a couple more books on my heart and are in the beginning stages. We'll let you know when they come back from proofinfg and printing! The 3 books shown, have been added to Christian Book Stores attatched to local churches, in Georgia. Even in Alaska, a Pastor wanted some to pass along to hurting souls needing the hope that only comes through Jesus Christ! They are available on Amazon.com. Our 2014 focus with our Ladies Meetings this year will be on Missionaries and their families. What an often lonely time it is for them in foreign countries, away from their families and loved ones. It will be a joy to reach out to them, this year. We're introducing our Missionary's Hope Chest, too! What fun the ladies will have, filling it up! AND FULL IT IS!!! Here is our FIRST QUILT!!! ALL the ladies have done some part of this project...praise the Lord!
ALSO...It's been a privlege to give out SEVERAL Sunshine baskets!! How blessed it is to give to others! We're very excited to having started quilts to put into our Missions Chest. All the ladies have been involved, whether cutting, sewing, or donating material for ths project! Come and bring a friend!
